Re: Does the Clio have body paint drain plugs?

Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up taking the wiper motor and linkage out, plus the water bottle as I couldn't see the drains otherwise. I could see a puddle around the centre below the wiper motor and found the drain hole there and it was full of water but no sludge at that end. Wiggling my finger in the inlet meant I could see the outlet hose which dangles down into the engine bay and it was at that end I found the blockage and let the water flow out.

So, let this be a lesson to anyone who has this issue after me - check the easily-accessible 7 inch black rubber hose dangling into the engine bay at the back in the centre before you struggle with the windscreen wipers, scuttle panel, windscreen wiper motor, etc, etc!

Hopefully, that's the only source of the water - time will tell! Now just need to dry out the interior and get rid of the mould***8230;

Cheers guys.
