How to remove boot lock mechanism Megane II

Hi, As the title says, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to (or where to find info on) taking out the boot lock mechanism on a 56 Megane coupe. I have taken the bolts out at the back (inside the boot) and the mechanism has come loose but there is something stpping it from coming outThe bottom part of the mechanism seems like it will come out but it is caught at the top some how.

The catch is jammed in a locked position and the boot is open.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ryan

The mechanism will be attached to the electrical solenoid motor.

Have you removed the door liner and had a look inside?
