Re: Water in drivers footwell

I've taken a look at the car today... I checked around the door and found the pillar between the windscreen and door is damp at the top which made me think it was the sunroof. I took out the sunroof glass and poured water down both drain holes and the water drained near the wheel arches so they can't be blocked.

Do the sunroof drains end up in the drains under the scuttle panel? Because there was a pipe which lead into a hole under the drivers side scuttle panel which then drained under the wheel arch - is this the drain that can get blocked or should I be looking elsewhere?

I also noticed that the main bulkhead drain pipe behind the engine is bone dry inside, could this mean that the pipe is blocked and where does it lead to?

I really appreciate anymore advice

Try pouring some water into the scuttle panel and see if drains quickly.

check the seal of the A-pillar pipe, it might be lose when cold.
get the interior dried out and if possible get a peice of thick plastic in over the top of the Fusebox and UCH to deflect any further water that might leak in.
