Question Laguna door mirror pod - removing colour matched trim/back

Thanks to some local yobs, who decided to kick my mirror off, I've had to buy a replacement.

The back is colour coded, but not the same as mine, so I need to swap them over. I have the original one off (found it about ten feet from the car), which has a lug on one side and two sprung prongs towards the outer side.

Replacement one seems very secure, so don't want to go prising it and causing damage, so is there a simple technique to remove them ?

Any help appreciated.

If you can remove the mirror glass first it will help.
