Re: Boot unable to lock!!

This may help although mine wouldn't open.

I had a problem with my boot lock which eventually died. After much investigation and pulling apart i discovered the power cable to the lock motor (inside the rubber cowling which carries the cables from the boot door to the main car body) had broken from the constant opening and closing. I soldered it back together and now works again.

I did have to cut open the rubber cowling though, so be careful if you do as there are lots of wires in there, but superglue will stick it back together.
