water ingress

being my first Renault megane convertible , a 1.6 dynamique. After having a heavy days rain , yesterday , the car now sounds like it has a lot of water in it , can hear it sloshing about somewhere in the rear, checked the boot with was dry, but it was wet in the passenger footwell yesterday, any hints or tips for finding this water and removal would be greatly appreciated

Re: water ingress

Check the drains in the windscreen scuttle aren't blocked - quite a common problem.

Re: water ingress

Hi guys,

I have a Scenic I MKII (non-convertible!) and yesterday after some heavy rain I had water comping in the passenger front footwell.

Someone mentioned the pollen filter - how does one check this to make sure water doesn't come in, I don't really see what the connection is, but I did change the filter the other day.
