The coupe doesn't actually look too badly damaged this time - just new panels and lights?
Again, glad he is OK, maybe he will learn to leave a bigger gap to the car in front, and start to treat all other drivers on the road as idiots who should be avoided (quite literally)

He passed his test June 2004 so he now has 24 months experience. After the first accident his driving really improved and he slowed down and kept a good distance. I was not with him on either occaision so can't testify to what he was doing. The first bump he got away with and never claimed on his insurance, the second time he was not so lucky and has a claim going through on his insurance.
He has a J reg Citroen Ax 1.4 diesel at present which (suprisingly) is a group 7 insurance against the coupe which was a group 6. He has had more bumps in 2 years than I've had in 30 years (touch wood)

I remember feeling pretty untouchable and invincible after about 2 years, maybe these bumps will serve as a reminder that he isn't danger-free. I was lucky and didn't actually have any prangs, but i did have a few scary moments which opened my eyes. These days my friends call me Miss Daisy lol

Oh the joys of been young and driving, been there got the t-shirt and paid heavily for it with my insurance premiums, can anyone beat £3500 for 1 years insurance coz thats what i paid after i wrote off my 9 month old Saxo VTR, i went out and bought a VTS when i had got paid out. Luckily i was on my own and didnt hit anyone. I hit one of those wood looking direction signs (old style), but they aint all wood but reinforced concerete! You guessed it, i snapped it half over the drivers wing and the bit that has the name place on came straight through the windscreen and between the front seats missing my head by 4 inches, i was doing 70ish at the time too when the back end decided it want to lead the way and swapped ends with the front of the car!

Va Va Voom!
