Espace body panels

Just out of curiosity, how are the body panels attached on an 1994 espace (wings, rear quarters etc..)?

If they are all nut n bolt, would it be possible to swap each panel from car to car ?

It's all fiberglass isn't it? Assuming it is, it should all be bolt-on stuff surely I'll have a look on mine later

Hi, most of the panels are made from pressed fibre resin mat (similar to fibreglass but with a lot more filler powder in the resin and are then pressed not laid-up giving a very high quality finish, without a gel coat)

Mostly they are glued on with adhesive and in some more stress areas bolted as well to the galvanised steel frame ... body repair is not for the diyer unless its easy replace panels, door skins, bonnet etc, major panels like the roof etc should be left to a body shop with experiance in the Espace structure, as if I remember a lot of the panels need stressed and clamped to fit properly.

Hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
