Laguna 11 wiper fitting

There seems to be a lot of confusion on fitting new wiper blades to the Lag 11 in the forum.

I fitted new fronts and rear wiper today in about 10 minutes, the lack of movement of the arms away from the screen is no problem.

Renault dealer Front wiper blades.............£32.32 pair.
Renault dealer rear blade...........................£10.72

Halford Front wiper blades..............£19.99 pair
Halford Rear wiper blade.................£ 6.99

The Halford blades are exactly the same, and fit and work perfectly.

Photo 2. New blade.

Photo 3. Release clip half open.

Photo 4. Release fully open.

If you want you can fit the new blades with the arms parked or in the centre of the screen.
No force is needed, just slightly fiddly to remove the old blades and then fit the new blades.

Same here Blaster - got a pair of refills yesterday - but had to pay 8 pence more than you - plastic back type - just slotted in in about 5 minutes. Garages always seem to want to fit new blades cos there is more profit - I am a great believer of the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
