Auto Windows on a Meg CC

There is an excellent post re Auto-Wipers attempting to start when the screen is frozen.

Made me realise what could happen on my Mk3 CC - not sure about Mk2s - might even apply to them.

Just before opening the doors the window drops and goes back up when the door is shut. This could lead to problems if the window was frozen as the motor would try to put the window down.

Possibly something for CC owners to be aware of? There are several tips on preventing frost from forming on screens (Google it) but my plan is to keep the rubber surround and glass clean and dry or park in a sheltered space. The other alternative is to leave the side window slightly open so that it is not in contact with the rubber is not really a good idea
