You dont need to buy a specialist alarm, I just got a cobra (not the most basic though, but by far not the best model) alarm with the ultrasonic sensors (think they all come with those) and also made sure it did the central locking. I paid £60 for the alarm and got my mate to fit it (he fits alarms for a liviing)
For the alarm to activate the central locking on my laguna 1 he found it easier to wire in the central locking wires of the alarm into the wires of the central locking switch (near the handbrake).
Activating / De-activating the alarm locks and unlocks the doors.
Its probably not the cheapest solution out there, but it saves you going to renault, its realiable and give extra security.
