Cant remember the exact model of alarm I had on my car, but it was a Cobra alarm which had a two cut immobliser, ultrasonic protection and did the central locking. The alarm cost me £60, but then theres fitting on top of that of course.
I'll ring my mate that fitted it later and get the exact model number for you.
I got my mate to fit it (he's a qualified installer you see) as I havent the foggiest. The biggest concern would be the immobliser I suppose, as its easy to stuff things up. And also if you get in it installed by a proper installer you may get a rebate on your insurance if its complies to a Thatcham catergory. The alarm I had was a Thatcham category 2 alarm. Category 1 is the best, so its not the best / most expensive alarm, but more than adequate.
