Re: Retrofitting folding mirrors

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry for posting the pic, it came from the French forum.

I have a EU (Netherlands) car.

Do you have these folding mirrors yourself?

So it should be a round plug for the folding mirror?

I haven't looked at it on my car as the Renault dealer said that the complete wiring loom should be replaced, and that this probably wont fit on my car.

I hope anyone can confirm that the connector for the wiring loom is the same in all models?

Re: Retrofitting folding mirrors

pull the drivers door trim off and have a look, its the only way to really tell what you need.

you can get most parts from breakers yards at a lot less than a dealerships upgrade price. at most you might after fitting the parts have to get the ECU / UCH reprogrammed with the folding mirror setting to ON.
on older laguna's it was simply a case of either plug in and it works or swap the loom as well.

give it a try, but check you door loom first.

Spare parts available for 2001 Scenic 1.9Dci, 97 Lag1, 02 Lag2.
everythings gotta go....
cheap prices...
