they are held on by 3 20 torxs each side

1-underneath the bumper is a small hole for the foglight surround to marry upto with a 20 torx

2 should be on the left side fog light a plastic insert to the left, the reverse of this on the right hand side would be right hand side(if you know what i mean) a 20 torxs screw goes in there which should be on the bumper

3 a top torx with an insert all ready in the bumper for a screw to be placed in

if you dont have them then all i can think of is to seal them in with some silicone sealent

imo a bodge job at best so i wouldnt stick fog lights to a bumper but some people see it as ok

the problem is you dont have the correct fog light switch on your steering stalk , if you replace it with one with a front fog light stalk and fuse it and place the correct relay in it should work

bit of a job though

hope this helps you

Angry Re: Fitting foglights (Clio Mk2 Ph2)

It is important to know - each fog light has a plastic cage, which in most cases is stapled to the back of the hole where the fog light fits. The fog light is then screwed from the back to the plastic mounting cage by 2 x torque screws. Unless you have the mounting (fixing) cages, it is impossible to fit the fog light to the bumper. It is also nearly impossible, to fit this mounting cage and fog lights without removing the bumper. It may be possible to obtain these mounting cages from a scrapyard but in order to do so, the bumper will have to be removed to obtain access. Probably easier to purchase from Ebay or Renault dealer. Make absolutely certain, the mounting cages are specific for your model of Clio as there are variations.

Also, fog light stalk/switch may have to be changed and an extra wiring loom to connect from the harness which is normally behind the nearside fog light hole.

Furthermore, the UCH (computer may have to be reprogrammed) by Renault for them to work.

A massive job for 2 x small lights.

Hope this helps.
