Re: Possible paint mark on bumper help!

I would give something like "back to black" - bumper/trim restorer polish stuff a go first. This might just hide it. A bonus bit is the rest of the number/trim will look good!

Re: Possible paint mark on bumper help!

'Back to Black' will only seal in any paint & won't even hide it, painter's wet wipes are not even any good, I am a painter and i'm forever getting paint on handles if it's wet get it off straight away, if it's gone dry, i think coup's idea is probably favorite.
As for getting the colour back try asking around & see what other people use, I just know that Back to Black, Bumper Restorer etc are just 5 min wonders - don't work.
See if 'Auto Glym' do anything decent down at Halfords.
I'm spraying my bumper panels with Halfords Plastic Bumper paint - Dark Grey - Looks quite good.

Re: Possible paint mark on bumper help!

hi all
im thinking I would maybe gently wet and dry the big built up areas then cream cleaner. cif not jif. lol then back to black to finish her off?

good job that trims there really or it would have been a nice scrape in the paintwork.

Re: Possible paint mark on bumper help!

Hello Thanks for the suggestions!

I have tried Cif with a cloth (i didn't have an old toothbrush)

we have also tried soap and water,
baby wipes,

It seems to be one of those marks that won't come out!
