Renault Laguna 1 - Passenger Door Won't Open

Hi there,

This is my first post so i will try and give as much info as i know.

My passenger door has remained locked (even jammed) when i have tried to open it with both the plip and the internal central locking switch.

Both the internal and external handles appear to work but there is no sound of the door mechanism unlocking. However the internal handle is protruding very slightly.

Is this repairable (by a non mechanical person) or do people think i should just get it into the garage?

If it is repairable could someone give detailed pointers as to how to do this as i have no experience of this type of thing.

Many thanks in advance

Could anyone give me help with this problem please.

I've found to ruber 'gromits' under the external handle, can i put a wire in here to release the door?

pls help

I have exactly the same problem. Is there a way of opening the door without destroying the door trim?
