Hi there and welcome.
It depends on the reason behind lifting the car in the first place. If it's for brake/hub or wheelarch-type work, I'd locate the stand on the stoutest part of the suspension arm close to the hub.
But if its for working on the suspension, then I'd be looking at a chassis rail for supporting the car.
Either way, ensure it's a firm and level surface and don't have the stands any higher than is necessary.
