Re: Renault trafic 01- leaking scuttle fix guide save your injectors

hi thankyou for this very informative thread.i have stripped everything out and was just double checking instructions etc when I found that I don't have the edging strip.it is on step 3 ,resealing section second picture and one where you put some on the edge pieces as well.what is this edging strip and where did you get that.i have looked on screwfix and have bought item numbers you recommended, only to find that they are both weatherstrips, one black one brown.obviously I will take one back as no use.also looked on screwfix at dry glaze seal, but it doesn't look like what you've put on.please advise.any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi Cunstine
Very good article as this is something I must do myself. When you come to put the metal scupper back on you mentioned that you put the rubber seal on the longest part and both rubber and foam strips on both ends. Just checking that only the rubber seal is used on the longest part and not the foam as well.
Many thanks
