Rear bumper rubbing strips

Here's a question someone may be able to help me with.

I need to remove my rear bumper rubbing strips (2005 Laguna Hatchback).

I intend to install my parking sensors this weekend and plan to place them in the rear rubbing strips like I've seen on many a Laguna.

The problem is I've tried to move the strips and had no success. I don't want to just use brute force incase I go breaking them and can't get them fitted back once done.

Please help to make my weekend hassle and bad word free

Can't help with getting the strip off but someone said on the forum once you have removed the strip there are pre-drilled holes where the sensors if origonal are fitted.

A problem well stated is a problem half solved !
