thanks for the reply, i tried again the trick of pressing the bonnet but harder this time and the lever worked fine! now it is working fine! Very weird!! thanks for you replies!!

hello had the same problem. If you can remove front grill you may have to break it but with the grill off you can get to the bonnet striker just above the rad i had to make a slim spanner to fit the strikers nut . I cut a strip of 4mm plate 10inches long by 2inches wide with a gap of 33mm to undo the nut its a slow job a bout an hour but it worked great for me

Help needed

My bonnet on my mk 2 Laguna is stuck, it seems to be the drivers side that is fast. Any ideas please, it needs a oil change asap and i cant get in the bonnet
