Laguna - It leaks

Ah, the joys of motoring. My son had a Laguna a year or two ago, and if it rained there was a fair chance it wouldn't open the door locks to let him in out of the rain. The times I was called out to help him with passengers and such. The times he called the AA out to help him. Earlier this year, I bought a Laguna. Guess what? It leaks from the roof light console, where the remote sensor is. It hasn't yet locked me out when it rains, but I can guarantee rain will drip down if I turn left on my route. Is this a Renault feature? If so, can't Renault do a free fix as it clearly is some kind of design fault.

Hi Parka - I take it the car has a sunroof - if so it sounds like it drains are blocked and water is spilling into the sensor.
