Hi all,
Parked my car while I went out for a Chinese, came back and some jealous prat has keyed it down both sides. Scratches start at my back doors and go all the way to my front headlights (2 on each side). I'll add some pictures to this post when I've got daylight. In the mean time does anyone have any suggestions of where to go to get it fixed, and how much it's likely to cost (T-Cut ain't gonna do it!).

I know someone local who will definitely do a good job, but if the damage covers as many panels as I think, it ain't going to be cheap.

If you end up going through the insurance, then insist on having Lewis Reed in Prenton do it. I've had a few repairs done there, and they've done an absolutely spot-on job each and every time. Whatever you do, don't let your insurers bully you into using a certain Wirral based accident specialist (PM me if you want the name, but I won't mention it in public.) If you do, I can guarantee that you'll be driving one of their crappy roller-skate courtesy cars for a month while your car sits in their compound gathering dust. And believe me, their courtesy cars are so bad you'll be wishing you were back in the Modus again.

Ok - just checked your profile and you are on the Wirral. If it's not too much trouble to take it to Manchester, me and OG would recommend Car Care Express who are just over near Renault Manchester. Their number is 0161 834 1834. They've done work on both the Espace and 911 for OG and the results were spectacular. They did a really excellent job of blending in the Espace and once they identified the exact colour match for the 911 you would not know it had been damaged. In fact, in all the months since it was done I'd forgotten it had been resprayed until this thread reminded me...
