It is possible the car has been clocked - have you anyway of contacting the previous owner. The gear knobs aren't very durable and tend not to withstand sweat. The drivers seat generally get worn from getting in and out - so it may have been used for many short runs or a large type person hauled themselves in and out. Remember the car is nearly 6 years old

The window problem sounds very much like a failed window regulator - you need to strip the door card to find out - usually the cables get rusted and mangled up.
