I once found a practical use for the spoiler on my second Lag 1. We were on a caravan site and the toilet block was miles from the caravan. Our toilet cassette used to leak - not badly, but enough that you wouldn't want to transport it in the boot. So I sat it on the back window of the car, and the spoiler held it in place. I wouldn't recommend it at speeds much over 5mph though.

Might also give me an oppourtunity to see how the boot struts cope without it...
Its a good point, must be weighty, may be bolted to the boot though ??

Could be the spoiler is bolted or stuck on and if it has been painted in situ., removal may leave a mess which may cost more than 45. It may be a case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
