Megane - Battery flat can't lock car

Hi everyone,

My Girlfriend has a 2002 Megane Coupe. Today the battery went flat

Can anyone please tell me if it is possable to manually lock the car without the battery working?

The only outside lock is on the passenger door so it only locks that so the drivers door and boot are open

Thanks for help/advice

Hi Al

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sure that there is a way of doing it, but I'm afraid that I don't know what it is. Hopefully someone will be along in a bit who knows how it works.

Just a thought tho, as it sounds like you need to secure the car. Have you got a set of jump leads? I guess you could power the car that way, lock the doors, and then disconnect the leads and close to bonnet.
