Re: front grille stone guard
yes, I am thinking the same....and will probably fit some on my car too - hadn't realised just how vulnerable (and £££££££) a new air con condenser rad would be
Renault dealer quoted £450 for the rad and £700 to fit... plus VAT..... managed to find a recommended local mech. who will do the whole job incl parts for just under £400....still horrendously expensive but better than £1200 !
Any recommendations on grill size ?... too small would restrict the airflow, too big would be rather a pointless exercise....too many choices !
I was advised this week, on this Forum that a Scenic 2 Condensor was £50 inc Vat, from Leicester Radiators, Fit it myself, + £30 Re-gas locally. So even your Cheaper Quote doesn't sound so good.
Thanks for the thread, I shall be fitting an ally grid too.
