here is the original post re Sill Drains Clio II

original post date 17/12/2014

hi, there is also a drain hole at the front of the sill. Remove the wheel arch liner. behind it on the A post is a foam strip running from top to bottom, this just pulls out, at the bottom is a hole going into the sill, this is where the Clio often blocks up, be sure to pull the muck out not push it in . you need to do both sides !

I hope this helps - let us know if further assistance required

Re: puddles of water in front foot wells?

I drove around with puddles and rain leaking in for a year in the kangoo.I put putty on the side rims on both sides and on the nipples that would hold some rack on the top. This helped but still some leakage. I put putty around where the windows meet the side rims. Finally the last drop seemed to come from the antenna and a thick layer of liquid gasket covers that now. Does look terrible but it is dry.
