Re: Grasping the nettle (at last)
The wife doesn't 'like' the car (it's a bit too utilitarian and Noddy-like) for her taste - she prefers the R, but it's perfect for a young family, with an almost 'hose-clean' interior, and it's surprisingly capable.
An example; we decided (on the day), to go to Blackpool last weekend Sat & Sun - returning home Mon (v. late).
The B & B stated parking available (which was only accessible, via a very narrow lane between buildings).
We managed, but a good part of the R wouldn't!
So, I think the OH has a 'grudging' respect for it, but she refuses to drive it - which suits me.
Nailed the final spot of corrosion yesterday (just beyond the rear wheelarch), but since the 'after' pic includes the business details, it would be unethical of me to post it, as I would be advertising.
Suffice it to say, job-done!
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
