Re: Nylon Nuts, Split Washers or Adhesive

Now that is an interesting question RW.
My compressor on the vehicle has one blow outlet to feed 2 trumpets i.e twin dual tone, the trumpets are 140mm & 160mm length

The new set has 140, 160 & 210mm trumpets fed by a compressor that has 4 outlets on the top (& it don't work when i shuv 12v into it) & i'm confused how to connect this set up, the instructions are for twin horns, there is only a 'Y' piece for 3 trumpets.
I have contacted the seller but he's a knob & not much help.

Universal Triple Air Horns Compressor Relay Fittings Instructions Switch V. LOUD | eBay

Will my compressor feed 3 trumpets if i get an 'X' piece, will it be powerful enough.

Will it be any louder ? probably not me thinks

PS : the red wire is an earth i will change that

Yes an X will feed 3 horns, It's presssure mainly, not flow. No louder, but there will be 3 tones. If it has 4 outlets, probably was musical with the mech switching bit removed. Probably got 2 outlets that work, hence the Y.
Bit worrying that it doesn't work. From where are you getting your power? Shouldnt just put in on the old horn feed, it'll blow fuses. Needs about 10A start up.

Re: Nylon Nuts, Split Washers or Adhesive

Warcha mean the compressor doesn't work with 12v on it?

If it is bust, claim a refund.

Set up should be simple, even if only one pipe, simply put Y pieces in to join, try to keep hose lengths the same to keep any losses even.

If the four outlets are to a common manifold and all pump air out at same time, connect the three horns and plug one outlet.
If they pulse air, that's trying to play a tune and unlawful so cannot use them. Or there will be a switch on compressor to make one blast or a tune.
Seem to remember that was an option with the old 5 tones that played Colonel Bogey or La Cucawhetever.
