Re: Need advice on repair

Pillars on both sides damaged. Have they done a bad lift? Was this your main Renault Dealer? Might be worth a call to Renault Customer service if so - but don't risk the 75 offer as others have advised.

Re: Need advice on repair

its actually 90 with VAT. I know that isn't much and I would have no problem paying that if I did the damage, but it was never there prior handing car over to them. If I really wanted to get a freebie repair I would have said they scratched the door instead which is external and can be seen.

I actually got a call yesterday from customer relations and they said they will see what they can do. So hoping they can do it free of charge. And this again proves why I prefer doing my own service.

I am with you on that but yours is a new car and you need to keep the services going until the warranty runs out at least. Even though 90% of the stuff on the service sheet is never really done. Where I live, I have to insist on having the maintenance book, radio code etc etc as the dealers generally keep them (to ensure future maintenance stays with them). Service histories are on their computers only.

Re: Need advice on repair

While the general advice is good, I'm struggling to visualise the damage.
Any chance of some pictures, may give a clue to what happened?
