Re: Trafic Bumper/Grill Removal

Front end removed and it looks like Alternator is Knackered. Connections are fine but noticed a rumbling from the Alternator since I owned the van, the guy mentioned it at MOT too, loosened off tensioner and spun the pully, sound very grindy and stiff, been looking at Replacements and nearly passed out at some of the prices, finally found this one on Ebay , comes up as the right one but allot cheaper than most I have seen, Don't want to purchase it and its the wrong one?

Re: Trafic Bumper/Grill Removal

All fitted and working fine now, So far so good.. Ended with Alternator off Ebay 96 all in and here in 24Hr's, bit disapointed as always had a bearing noise from down that area as the Engine turns, thought it was the Alternator but sadly still there, now thinking its one of the pully's or Tensioner, another job coming up soon...

cheers for the advice again.....
