that is a straight forward repair ...start by removing all the paint around the damaged area and try pulling out as much as you can ..may work with suction type or other way would be a panel pulling tool ...saw a cheap one on fleabay and dont know if its any good ...once you have area out as much as you can without going to far use a filler

I'm no expert but just one point as its a bit difficult to judge from the photo ..... the leading edge of the dented panel looks a bit gnarled and distorted. Once the dent is pulled out can this edge be dressed back into line again?

on looking closely I dont see any issues dressing that but as you say a photo showing door open and that edge would confirm
