The edge that runs down the side of the door is bent inwards only a little bit. the guys in the body shop said it would need a new panel or that pulled back out again and that's not going to be easy to actually do.

they stuck some sticky things on the panel to try and pull it out but soon as they tried cause its pushed back about a inch it wont pull out.. it just pops back in again

Never realised that someone had tried to pull it before ...did he use any heat on it ?

Can it not be pressed out from the inside, enough that it wont pop back in.
Then fill,.
The part of the edge, could you take the striker plate off, (you will need to remove p/s rear window, panel which ever way you go on the repair).
With all the doings out of the quarter panel, piece of wood pushed in, with a rope threaded around, through the striker hole, piece of wood down the door part , wider enough, that when you twist the rope with your trolley jack bar, it will pull the corner back out...

No he just came out. glued some sticks to it and then pulled it and it popped out abit and then opened the door and said omg its bent there and showed me along the side of quarter and said unless that's pulled back then that's not going to stay, then said I need a new quarter panel as there is no way that you can pull it out as the metal is to thick there..

thing is the younger guy that was there suggested getting to it from the inside.. and the older guy just said I aint taking the rear seat out and then the side off and all that rubbish they are way to much hassle to do when you can just remove the quarter and replace it without all that rubbish..

I must admit I had a look at removing it all and I couldn't work it out.. lol...
