Ouch - both sides?
I wouldn't use T-cut - go to a motor factors and purchase 3M Fast Cut Compound (not cheap, circa £25 - but it's the best).
Using a soft, damp cloth apply the compound along the scratch, working it in a bit at a time. This will restore what you can.
Where the paint has been eroded - get a touch-up paint and thin it down a bit (but not too much), then forget the brush (unless the scratches are broad), and use an open-ended paper clip to fill the gaps in the paint. The lacquer should also be thinned down, and applied in the same way.
Leave it for a week, then gently compound it to level off, and use a polish to restore a shine.
It won't look perfect (view it as a damage-limitation exercise), and it will be a lot less noticeable than before.
I'd bide my time regarding revenge - he'll get a car one day - and brake fluid is pretty cheap.....
