I love the stuff...Not keen on Peanut Butter n Jelly though, I think the Yank's can keep that one Wouldn't want my car to go into shock whilst I'm in it either, 4* NCAP or not

I have also heard that warming the plastic with a hair dryer works?! I'm not sure how - something to do with plastic having a "memory" I think. Though that would apply to a trim that was damaged in some way I'm not so sure about returning its original finish.

I've used a product called "back to black" that worked pretty well, I guess anything silicone based will do it

I've used back to black before, and it is a great product, but in aerosol form it does have some draw backs.Unless you mask off the surrounding area it can stick to paint work and can be a bugger to get off.

It's great for a pre-show tart up though.

I use Meguiars Natural Shine. It will bring the colour back, but doesn't put such a high gloss finish on, making it look a little more normal.

Like all the others though (can't speak for peanut butter!) it will fade. I normally have to give the trim a once over every month or so.

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow...

Wanna see what I drive? No pics of the latest Passat, but you can see the Scenic II here and the CB1000R here!

Previous Passat here and Bandit here.
