Scenic 3 wing mirror removal

Hope someone can point me in the right direction
The passenger side wing mirror is quite loose, does anyone know how I go about tightening it up? Will I have to take the door card off
Thanks

Re: Scenic 3 wing mirror removal

Looking on tbay it is the card off, but depending what part is lose, (all the wing mirror unit, as it bolts onto the door?)

It's the whole thing that's shaking, seems to be loose from where the door meets the wing mirror

Re: Scenic 3 wing mirror removal

Take out 4 screws, remove window switch and inner handle assembly, remove white plastic block underneath that clicks into door. Pull off door card slowly, starting in the front corner near the speaker until it's loose all around and then lift from window slot. The screws holding the mirror will now be visible, good luck, hope it's just a case of tightening them up and replacing the door card in the opposite way you removed it.
If all goes smoothly less than 30 minutes for whole job.
Look at the search facility and see other threads showing door card removal to replace door locks and window mechanisms.
