Tailgate Struts

My gas filled struts on the main tailgate on my Laguna II Sports tourer are getting past it, any ideas how much a new pair will cost and if I can get them cheaper from a non renault dealer source?

Re: Tailgate Struts

The gas struts on the lag II had become weak over time, plus the spoiler I fitted didn't help, the tailgate would creep down in very cold weather.
So I paid a visit to the above company (SGS) and had the struts re-gased, I asked them to put a higher pressure in to compensate for the spoiler, they re-gased them at 620N they were originaly gased at 535N.

Great service & very quick, took them about 5 mins to do, now I just have to lift the tailgate about a foot and the struts take it the rest of the way, 7.50 + vat per strut, quite a bit cheaper than Reno me thinks .
