I doubt very much you'll get a panel from a breakers. If you seen what was involved in removing a quarter panel you would realise the damage that can be caused by trying to remove it in one piece. The panel just isn't bolted on its welded in place. Much grinding chiseling, etc is involved and you can be sure it wouldn't be too straight after all that.

Have you any idea how the damage occurred or what type of vehicle was involved??

I found a breakers yard selling the panel for 89 and the colour is either the same as mine or very close so Im going to check that out soon.

Yes Ive reported all that to the police.
Currently in DMH-01's garage:
Renault Clio 03 Mk2 1.2
