Question Laguna 2 Drivers wing mirror fitting.

Hi, i know nothing about cars to start with. Anyway on Friday someone snapped my wing mirror off with the wiring hanging for the door but looks intact.

I have a 2nd hand wing mirror being delivered tomorrow. I believe I have to take some trim off inside the car and undo the 2 bolts and unplug the wiring and just plug in new mirror and bolt it all back together.

Is this correct? is there a certain way to unplug the wiring?

Its a Laguna 2 2002 Expression DCI

It's a fairly simple plug connector. Once you get the replacement and the cover of the old one it's easy to figure out

Hi there. I also had a wee ned or several wee neds kick off my wing mirror a couple of weeks ago (one of 30 in the street) I sourced a replacement through a googled 'parts gateway' from Four Ashes Renault (apologies if I've said too much).

Was about 58 delivered which ain't too bad. Mine was just a heated/electrically adjusted one but they did ask if I wanted a powered one.

As said above, very easy to fit - 3 bolts/screws and an electical plug connector.

Also, I was lucky in that the coloured bit on mine wasn't damaged so I was able to prise it off the kicked off one and put it on the replacement. Had to gently pull off the glass to get at some of the clips, though.

Got a Renault tractor? Then check out:
