2001 Clio - Replacing Boot Lid - How?

Hi everyone,

I've been roped into changing the boot lid of a friends Clio. Was hoping someone has done this and could give me a couple of pointers...

1) The hinges look like they are just held in by pins, do I just knock these out?

2) How do I unhook the wiring that leads from the car, would guess its for the brake light & heated windscreen?

The rest seems fairly straight forward, so help on this would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

Not done it myself, but i suspect if you remove the trim it will be obvious, trim will be a conbination of plastic "rivets" and screws, if the repalcement is fully trimed at least you can experiment on how to remove it. Hopefully a member who know the Clio will be a long to help

The older I get the better I was, must be mad not got enough money to be excentric
