Hi sorry to here this,i would stab a guess it will be close the filler opening behind the boot trim in your boot and the only way forward will be to remove a few screws and have a look, iam also not that sure it will have one??? but it has to be worth a try, good luck all the best Donald

There definitely should be a manual release for the mechanism.

It will mention it in the handbook, but the normal way to access it, is to prise back the boot lining (on the filler side), you will see a lever, use that.

It may be the case that the mechanism has jammed due to lack of lubrication/build up of grime. Or the solenoid which causes it to activate with the central locking has failed.

Either way, you have an over-ride function.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Then I would say your going to have to take the flap off and inspect the mechanisum. Take off the interior trim, and hopefully you'll be able to get to the bolts that hold the flap on

cap , door , emergency , fuel , jammed , release
