Great site, that's where I get all my cleaning goodies from.... good prices and very good service.

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow...

Hi M8
Yes your quite right and I stand corrected.
It should be done first, however ,saying that I was in a hurry when I washed my car last week and did the alloys last because it was threatening to rain and I was more interested in shifting the bird poo off it than clean alloys which I could do any time.
It didn't rain so they got done last .
I will say though that the trick with the tar spot remover and then hose off works a treat .
I took the car out a half hour after they were done and there were no streaks or throw back from them on the car at all!!

BTW M8 excellent link I've put it in my favourites TVM

Once your alloys are clean and shiny a wipe over with a silicon plastic restorer prevents further dirt and road debris from sticking to the wheels. A light wipe after each car wash is usually sufficient. Wipe it on with a cloth - don't spray it on or it could end up on the tyres or brakes
My neighbour does the same thing to his front bumper and number plate during the fly swatting season

Thumbs up

I use wash and wax from asda it pretty good and cheap i normally jet wash car then use a big brush on hose pipe to get the dirt off then i wash car with sponge and hot water (3/4 boiled water straight from kettle and 1/4 cold ) then douse car again with water then dry with shammy and polish with turtle wax nano startin with roof and inside doors once i done that i use autoglym extra gloss protection ( it says to use it every few months but i do it every month keeps the shine and is super easy to keep car clean u can just jetwash car every week an no need to wax jus dry with a soft cloth ) plastics i use simoniz back to black gel it does the job really well and gets rid of all the white from the wax

Know it sounds long winded lol but worth it the yellow really pops in the sun
