Cleanup rear plastic window in Megane Cabriolet

On my 2000 megane cabriolet, the rear window is pretty shoddy in the fact that its scratched and is developing a white line along where the window bends when the roof goes down.

I've searched the web (including fleabay) and there are tons of products but they all have cheesy adverts about how great they are. Anyone got any recommendations about a product they've used to clear up plastic window in a similiar state?

Personally I have found these products to be of limited value and once the dreaded white lines appear there is little or nothing to do but replace the plastic window. This is one of the perils of owning a soft-top no matter what the make of car. New window panels can be sewn back in but I haven't a clue as to cost but I'm sure a decent body shop may be able to point you in the right direction
