LAGUNA "be prepared" - NOT ... "get repaired"

Hi , Ive just spent 10 minutes idle googling this site , and Ive found out that just by greasing a rear wiper bolt - or by checking a power steering fixing clip I could save myself a fortune in cash - or even save my life !!
Has anyone got any other Laguna "preventative maintenance" tasks that could be beneficial in the long run , OR even better hows about a " go check this now" before it happens to you ! part of the site, to help save all our asses and cash.

Well the safest way to keep a Renault and prevent future problems (with a bit of luck), is to buy it brand new, have it trailored to a dry lock up, close the door, then leave it.

Come back 12 months later - flat battery - and host of warning lights if you ever do get it started

Good post twedspeed, as you said a bit of preventive maintanence can save a lot of cash and problems!

Both your tips are not in the servicing schedule.

Making sure all drain holes are kept clear is another. under bonnet, sun roof , etc, not personal ones.

When your car is 3 years old make sure you clean the TDC sensor then you won't have problems starting the engine.

Let's have more constructive tips Happy motoring.

A problem well stated is a problem half solved !

My ST rear wiper mechanism tip is a good one, even if I do say so myself

I have another with regards the motor, but I'm keeping that too myself as a money spinner

be prepared , get repaired , laguna
