Scenic Boot Badge

Hi Folks
I live in Spain and have recently bought a 2003 Scenic Dynamique.I have noticed that there is no Scenic badge on the boot(nor is there any evidence of one having been there)When I purchased the car it had only one previous owner with full service history and was declared as never having had an accident of any sort.I have been looking at other Scenics here in Spain and in the UK and I have seen quite a few minus the boot badge.Anyone have any ideas?

It may be because I believe it is common for the 'I' to fall off (only a small area to stick to I guess). Replacement letters are either expensive or hard to source, so the easiest 'repair' is to remove the rest of the letters.

That's my guess anyway!

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow...

Wanna see what I drive? No pics of the latest Passat, but you can see the Scenic II here and the CB1000R here!

Another explanation is that renault changed its branding, and they are no longer sold as 'scenic' in your market.

They did something similar in the UK when the cars used to be called megane scenic - then they dropped the (megane) part of the name.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
