Hello Rich.

The answer to your question will vary with so many different factors.

Depending on various factors such as:

1. The overall condition of the car initially
2. Who you get to do the work
3. What type of paint to use
4. What sort of finnish you want at the end of the day.

If your going for a complete respray then colour choice is entirely your's, but you have to bare in mind that door shuts and the engine bay, etc will need to be painted or will always be a different colour.

Why are you considering a complete respray?

A basic respray I would say would start at about £1000 and then anything upwards.
Repainting a complete car is not something that should be taken on lightly. There is a hell of a lot of work involved.

Hope this helps kind reagrds Oilyrag.

It is possible to get a respray for around £500,but it really won't look any sense at all.

£1000 is a minimum for a proper job,and as Oily says, theres a hell of a lot of work involved.

It doesn't matter that Renault don't do the colour anymore. Most proffesional bodyshops mix their paint themselves,so the paint doesn't come from Renault. There are many different shades of each colour and the bodyshop will do their best to match any colour to almost an exact match.I would keep the car the same colour,as this will save an awfull lot of hassle.

Hope this helps.
