TBH that's the problem of the supplier not yours.

Think of the paint code as a recipe, cause that's essentially what it is. If they've got the ingredients wrong then you shouldn’t have to pay for it

The paint code is usually on the inside of drivers door frame on a sticker, I'd check your log book to see if the paint matchs this, if they match my next step would to ring renault and ask there advice.

hope all works out for you...

To be honest, I've found that the log book quite often is useless as an identifier of the paint colour.

I owned a scorpio which was auralis blue, and the log book (dealer) had described it as silver...

Use the paintcode, its there for a reason.

Angry Beware of Halfords paint.

I took a perfectly matching touch-up pencil to the Halfords store and checked it with the cap on a "colour service Cross Match spray can" listed as the right colour for the car.
I used the spray on an area of door, but it came out much lighter. The clear coat that followed was supposed to result in a match but it failed miserably.
I have had to stencil over the resulant mess with the proper, matching touch up brush. The paint match is now fine, but the finish is rubbish. At least it will keep the rust off!
