Question passenger electric window laguna 2002

my laguna 2002 passenger window goes down about 2 inch max and stops with button depressed

originally it went down a bit further a couple of times then needed a helping hand back up

now just goes down a hair as such and back up

ive looked but cant see the window sticking and doesnt sound if it is jamming

any help appreciated

Hi. Sounds very much like the all too common window regulator problem. The metal regulator wires are most likely frayed and catching in the rollers / mechanism hence the window stopping.

Replacement regulators are available from ebay for about 50 plus and can be fitted yourself. The instructions on how to do it are on this forum somewhere.
