A gentle prod with a length of curtain wire plus some water squirted from a washing up liquid container usually helps. Go gently and don't force the wire as there is risk of damaging the rubber drain pipes. When clear water should appear behind both front wheels

Where on earth are the draining holes located?

I mean both entrance and exit.

I recently had exactly this problem and in my case it wasn't the sunroof drains - (slowly) pour some water from a jug in each side of the sunroof - it should pour out of the sill just behind the front wheelarches. If it doesn't, then de-block as described above. In my case, however, it did and I quickly established that the problem with mine was the radio aerial by pulling the roof console out (pop out & disconnect the lights, slide the front cover forward, disconnect the IR/RF receiver, remove the two T20s, pull the console down) and pouring water over the base of the aerial... To fix this, I simply unbolted the aerial, wrapped the top of the connecting thread and locating pin with PTFE and re-installed.
