Laguna 2 - Boot door not closing

I have recently gotten a Laguna'02 as second hand, All things were good except when suddenly the boot refused to lock. Locking with the key fob/remote closes all the doors except boot. Can anybody tell me what can be wrong and how to fix the issue.

It's possible the boot lock solenoid motor is faulty and they are prone to water ingress. You'll need to remove the boot inner liner for a looksee.

I agree, get the boot lining off and have a look. Check the wires are in place first and foremost. If they are but you're not getting any movement from the solenoid or indeed any whirring noises then it'll probably be a duff solenoid as suggested. Scrap yard'll be the cheapest place for a replacement
